Rossilite, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Rossilite," "we," "us," or "our"), provides Wayfuel. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the Wayfuel application, website pages associated with Wayfuel, and support services.
Locations, addresses, and route information. Wayfuel processes start and destination text, selected places, coordinates, routes, and related trip details. You may enter locations manually or, with device permission, use your current location. This information is used to search for places, calculate a driving route, select regional fuel-price data, estimate weather effects, display a map, and produce the requested estimate.
Vehicle and trip inputs. Wayfuel processes the vehicle or fuel-economy value you choose and inputs such as fuel price, units, trip count, round-trip selection, driving style, and payload. These inputs are used to calculate and display results.
Purchase information. Apple processes purchases and payment information. Rossilite does not receive your complete payment-card information. Wayfuel receives StoreKit product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to display a price, complete or restore a purchase, and determine whether paid features are unlocked. The app may cache entitlement status and free-use counts on your device.
Device and network information. When Wayfuel contacts Rossilite's fuel-price endpoint, Rossilite and its hosting and security providers process ordinary request information such as IP address, date and time, requested path and regional fuel-price query, user agent, referrer if supplied, response status, and request identifiers. Cookies are not included in Rossilite's CloudFront access logs. This information is used to deliver the request, secure and operate the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and comply with law. It is not used for advertising or to build a trip history or marketing profile.
Communications. If you contact Rossilite, we process the contact information, message, attachments, and technical or purchase details you choose to provide. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.
Wayfuel uses standard Apple storage to keep information such as recent trips, favorite addresses and vehicles, unit and appearance preferences, selected vehicle information, cached fuel-price data, free calculation count, purchase-entitlement status, and app settings. Rossilite does not receive a synchronized copy of this local history through Wayfuel.
You can delete individual recent trips and favorites through available app controls. Deleting Wayfuel generally removes its local application data from that device, subject to Apple's operating-system behavior, backups, purchase records, and synchronization features outside Rossilite's control. Apple may continue to retain App Store transaction and account records under its own policies.
If you choose the current-location control, Wayfuel asks iOS for location permission and uses the resulting location to populate the trip starting point. Location permission is optional. You may deny or revoke it in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security and Location Services. You can still enter a starting place manually. When you request a calculation, locations you provided may be processed by the services described below even if device location permission is disabled.
Apple's independent processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and applicable Apple terms. Government data-source names identify sources and do not imply endorsement of Wayfuel.
We process information to provide the calculation or support you request, operate and secure Wayfuel and its supporting endpoint, restore purchases, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect users and Rossilite. Where European or UK data-protection law applies, the legal bases may include performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing a limited-data service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent for device location through iOS Settings, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Rossilite does not sell or rent personal information. Rossilite does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use Wayfuel data to target advertising. Wayfuel does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party cross-app tracking SDKs as of the effective date of this Policy.
Retention may be extended when reasonably necessary for a security incident, legal obligation, or dispute. Rossilite does not use endpoint logs to maintain a user-facing account or trip-history database.
Rossilite uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the service, including encrypted HTTPS connections for Rossilite endpoints and access controls for supporting infrastructure. No device, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple Account.
Rossilite is based in the United States. Information processed by Rossilite and its providers may be processed in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, Rossilite relies on legally recognized transfer mechanisms or provider contractual protections.
You can decline current-location permission, enter places manually, delete available local history, or stop processing by deleting Wayfuel. Because Wayfuel does not require a Rossilite account and local trips are not uploaded to a Rossilite trip-history database, Rossilite generally cannot identify or retrieve local app data for you.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent concerning personal information Rossilite can reasonably identify as relating to you. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or complain to a privacy or data-protection authority. To make a request, contact us below. We may need to verify the request and may retain information when permitted or required by law. These rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Rossilite does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Wayfuel is a general-audience application and is not directed to children under 13. Rossilite does not knowingly collect personal information through Wayfuel from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Rossilite, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Rossilite may preserve or disclose information when reasonably believed necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, protect the security of Wayfuel, or protect the rights and safety of Rossilite, users, or others. Rossilite may also transfer relevant information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Policy as Wayfuel, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate to the significance of a change. If consent is legally required for a new use, we will request it before that use.
Rossilite, LLC is the operator responsible for this Policy.
